This 3up blank perforated paper for QuickBooks is typically used for 6-pt W-2 forms – when filing is required with both federal and state agencies. Print employee Copies B, C & 2 on a single, perforated sheet, then simply fold and mail in a compatible W2 envelope. For employee copies, we recommend choosing the paper with the employee instructions preprinted on the back. (You are required by the SSA to provide instructions with W2 forms.)

To print employer copies D & 1. We recommend using 2up blank perforated paper.

You must e-file Copy A if you have 10+ W2 and 1099 forms combined.

This applies to ANY combination of 10 or more of ANY type of 1099 or W2 forms, except correction forms. This change was enacted in 2023 and will be more strictly enforced this year.
